Although it is strictly for adults, this is one of my favorite Christmas movies, and I agree that surprisingly it captures the spirit of Christmas much better than all the soppy Hallmark-type Christmas movies out there. Billy Bob Thornton is excellent at playing the down-and-out with a good heart; he plays a similar role in the recent mini-series Goliath.
